Entering this week, we know this was going to be a different trip down to South Beach. Patriots are trending upwards and Miami has been trending downwards. Like under the ground type downwards. Like GTA Vice City, drive you car off the bridge type downwards.
I can’t say there wasn’t a small part of me that wondering if the curse of Miami would continue. Honestly, Tom Brady used to think the balls were slicker down there on big drives until the NFL allowed all teams to bring their own balls. But that can’t be true because only the Patriots try to get a leg up. But I digress.
Antonio Brown was seen early on Tom’s first three passes. Throughout the game he was also out of sync with Tom on a number of passes. He ended up scoring a nice lil touchdown with a side of a push off but I didn’t see nothin. Looked good to me.
With everything that’s going on with the Patriots offense, take a look at this tweet:
I get it, not that “impressive” when you look at the opponents. But still, they’ve been LOCK DOWN. Their defense had more yards on interceptions than the Dolphins had offensively. What else can you really say?
It’ll be interesting to see how they compete against top 10 teams. But we won’t see any of that until week 10. Cheers to a big week 2. We’re onto the Jets. At home. Which should be a blood bath again.
