I’ve been betting sports for some time here. I’ve been tracking some free accounts and a few paid accounts for a while. I’ve honestly never paid for them but I’ve done the 1-2 month free trials and tracked picks. All of them are pretty close to the same. Around 57-58% win rate. You can juice up that number by picking those heavy favorites (-200, etc) or money lines. The real staple of all of this is claiming you’ve won 10 units when you risked 10 units on those heavy favorites. Classic.
My whole schtick is transparency with my picks. I’ll prove that I can get to 150 units, all my picks are public and my record is legit. My units are a little off (betting 1 unit on a -110 doesn’t give you a full one back but it’s close). But over time it can add up. It’s why I extended free picks from 100 to 150 banked units.
So why am I blocked from a bunch of handicapping accounts including Stu Feiner? I think someone tagged me on one of his posts and his people were having none of it (I’m guessing he has people running it). Also note, god damn it I love Stu Feiner. Dude can block me, slap me right in my grill, don’t care. He’s made a living off gambling.
But why am I blocked by so many? I only have a 57.5% win rate and they have been in the business for so long. Their numbers can “smash” everyone else’s.
I found out what the goal is of handicappers. Sell high on your great streaks, have a price point that you can get someone for 1-2 months and you’re good. Keep the cycle going and sell the “magic” to new people. I’m in marketing and sales and the “feeding frenzy” is a real thing. The high price point with a big following will get people wondering. So buy some followers or use a “follow for follow” app. You’ll notice the like to comment ratio is a mess and every post is different.
There’s also a handful of accounts that like to sell the lifestyle. The wads of cash, their car and their house all get the job done and hook people.
I’m not saying Stu Feiner does this. He actually has all the clout in the world to see his picks. I’m more talking about some of these lower level accounts. And having 100K followers doesn’t mean shit if they’re fake.
This isn’t frowned upon because if you’re dumb enough to believe in a 65-70% win rate on -110’s, people usually say you deserve to pay that money. I think it’s all fucked up because this is an easy sales tactic and is a little shady in my opinion. But once you’re in, they’ll have their down moments and tell you to trust their system, it’ll swing back. If they can get a few payments out of you? They’ve done their job. Especially if they’re in the 300-500/week rate. So all they need you to do is drink the Kool Aid and buy one week.
I really had a ton of DM’s when I started my account and opened up on a hot streak. So many people said I was better than the dudes they paid $300/week for. I told them I would come down and probably have a cold streak. And by probably I meant I would..and I did. Some of the best handicappers are around 59% win rate.
I guess I started my account to make a little side money from it and create a community but also to help dudes who want to get in some action but won’t have time to research. I guess if you’re betting a lot, maybe the $300 a month is worth it but you can use that money to bet when you choose an honest capper like me or someone in this realm.
