Why The NFL Couldn’t Suspend Tyreek Hill

There’s a lot to unpack with this case, especially in one with child abuse involved. He was alleged to have broken his child’s arm and fuel was added to the fire from some of this language in this audio:

There’s some bad, BAD language in this video. Especially when he’s telling his girlfriend that she needs to be scared of him. And on top of that, he doesn’t exactly have the cleanest history in the world.

You need some kind of evidence that makes the story more probable. If you look at the Ezekiel Elliot case, the accuser worked with authorities and gave more information. He was suspended 6 games.

The NFL did not interview his girlfriend as a part of this investigation according to TMZ. They reached out to her multiple times to get more information with no success. People are speculating that she was intimidated. Who knows.

Law enforcement authorities also “publicly advised that the available evidence does not permit them to determine who caused the child’s injuries.”

So legal authorities made that statement. All the NFL had was this tape. A tape with accusations that relied on the woman herself and her word. It’s most likely if they could gain more info from her, Tyreek would have been suspended. But with law enforcement doing a deeper dive, sealing all the information and telling the public there wasn’t enough to take action, the NFL had nothing else to act on.
